The Great Debate: “The Channel Is Dead”
Over the last few years, we’ve seen the move to software as a service, the introduction of vendor marketplaces, and the evolution of eCommerce platforms. So much so, that many vendors are questioning whether they still need a channel. But at the same time, we’ve seen an increase in partners and distributors being appointed, and growth in the revenue generated by MSPs and Solution Providers.
So is the channel really dead?
Join us for a drink at the Hilton Sydney on 8 June, for the next CompTIA ANZ Community Meeting, where our two teams of industry experts will debate both sides of this topic. After that, we’ll break into small groups to explore the relevance of the channel today and in the future. We will discuss how, with the support of CompTIA, we can create tools or resources to support our businesses and move our industry forward.
And afterwards, it’s back to a pre-Covid style networking gathering, where we’ll get a chance to mingle face-to-face, over canapes and drinks, with peers and colleagues we haven’t seen for a while. And as always, it’s free for MSPs/Solution Providers, Vendors and Distributors.
